On the eve of all-Russian sports event called ТSki-track of Russia-2011У, employees of Kalinin nuclear power plant took part in a mass ski race. It took place on February 12 in Udomlya district (Tver region) within the framework of the traditional Health Day.

Over 100 people took part in the event organized by joint efforts of Udomlya district and Udomlya city administration and Kalinin NPP trade union committee. Before the start heads of the district and the city wished the participants good health, mentioned the importance of healthy lifestyle and further attraction of youngsters and adults to sport and physical training. 

The ski race was started by honorary guests of the sports holidayР representatives of the local government, heads of city and district enterprises, heads of rural settlements. Then race participants aged 18-71 and older entered the struggle for the medals. There were some employees of Kalinin nuclear power plant among the winners.

This very day there was a skiing relay of the XI Spartakiad 2010-2011of Kalinin NPP. According to its results, the team of thermal automatics and measurements department of Kalinin NPP headed the list.
