On February 18, 2011the IV industrial forum of Voronezh region was over in Voronezh.  Novovoronezh was represented at the forum by Head of Administration Sergey Mozgovoy, and Novovoronezh NPP Р by its Director Vladimir Povarov.

After the official opening there was a conference of regional industrialists and businessmen and summarizing of the ТEngineer of the Year Р 2010У contest results. According to Governor of Voronezh region Alexey Gordeev, today, as ever, the driving force for recent developments and achievements in the production sphere is talented specialists, a great number of which, as the annual contest ТEngineer of the YearУ showed, live in Voronezh territory.

Among the winners of this contest there were employees of Novovoronezh nuclear power plant. In the ТEngineering of the YoungУ category the 2-nd place was occupied by leading engineer of the thermal automation and measurements department Alexander Samodeenko, the 3-rd Р by engineer-physicist of nuclear safety department Kira Zaletnykh. In the ТProfessional EngineersУ category there were three Novovoronezh inhabitants among the winners: chief specialist of reactor department of the 5-th unit Maxim Sverdlov (the 2-nd place), Process Engineer of Desactivation Department Alexey Pyshnograyev and engineer of metrology department Vyacheslav Bashmakov (the 3-rd place). All employees of the nuclear power plant Р the winners of the ТEngineer of the Year Р 2010У contest Р are in strategic reserve of Novovoronezh NPP.

Within the framework of the forum there were seminars, Тround tablesУ, interregional specialized exhibitions. NPP representatives took part in the ТEcology in the IndustryУ specialized exhibition and discussion of the Foundation of Environmental Policy of the Russian Federation up to 2030.
