Moscow branch of ROSATOM-CICE&T hosted the 3rd International workshop on nuclear security culture organized by State Atomic Energy Corporation ЗROSATOMИ in cooperation with  Ministry of foreign affairs of the Russian Federation in partnership with the IAEA.

47 specialists from the countries using Russian nuclear technologies (Bangladesh, Belarus, Hungary, Vietnam, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Check Republic) and from organizations of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ЗROSATOMИ participated in this workshop.

Safety culture development became more relevant after the accident at Fukushima Daiichi NPP (Japan). Russia, which has considerable experience in the field of nuclear safety, focuses on organization of international trainings, workshops and meetings to distribute its practices in this area.
