On March 12, 2011 Kurchatov satellite city of Kursk NNP was visited by Moscow musical actors. Their concert program was held within the framework of RosatomХs Territory of Culture - the global project of Rosatom State Corporation Social Council and Rosatom State Corporation RegionsХ Management.

The aim of the project was to popularize the best examples of performing, fine and theatre arts among residents of nuclear facilitiesХ cities and to support regional creative teams.

During one hour, from the stage of City Palace of Culture one could hear the songs that won hearts of spectators worldwide and that were performed by the best voices of Moscow musicals. The project participants were the leading actors of such musical plays as Cabaret, Mama Mia, Nord Ost, Dracula, Notre-Dame de Paris, Romeo and Juliet and other masterpieces of international musicals.

Kurchatov citizens got lots of positive emotions as they have ТtouchedУ the art that represented the entire period in the history of modern Russian culture. Actors sang and did their best to amaze spectators with the beauty and strength of their voices and positive energy, spreading from the stage. Dancers that accompanied the actorsХ vocal show, also showed a great performance.

The concert program was finished by standing ovation of the thankful audience, which mainly consisted of young people.

Leader of Kursk NPP Youth Organization Dmitry Sinichka shared his impressions of the concert: ТIХm very glad that today I had a chance to see outstanding actors and listen to my favorite songs from popular musicals. IХve got a feeling pleasure. For us Р young people, residents of small towns, unpampered by the attention of true famous artists, the meaning of such concert programs, which get you closer to art and culture, is very difficult to overestimate.У

Kurchatov citizen Ekaterina Mytskikh also made no secret of her emotions: ТItХs just an amazing program! It is such a good luck and rarity to see fragments of popular musicals on the stage of our Palace of Culture and that is all for free! I am very thankful to Rosatom State Corporation for such a spectacular present. It is a wonderful project. Last year I with a great pleasure visited the vocal music concert of soloist Moscow Academic Chamber Theatre Olga Deineki-Boston and the performance in the memory of Vladimir Vysotsky, which were also held within the RosatomХs Territory of Culture project. I hope very much that it will be continued. I would like to see popular actors and singers in our city more often.У

In their turn, the stars of Moscow musicals distinguished hospitality and uncommon warmth of Kurchatov audience as well as a good organization of the event. Actors with a great pleasure visited the Public Information Centre of Kurchatov NPP, where they had a look at museum and exhibitory expositions.
