First permanent workplaces were organized at Leningrad NPP under construction

First two permanent workplaces were equipped at the water treatment building of the Leningrad NPP under construction Chemical Department, where a chemical engineer, an equipment operator and a laboratory chemical analyst would work. This event marks the end of the general construction and assembly operations at one of the main construction sites of the first start-up facility and moving to pre-commissioning testing primarily for operating personnel.

ТPermanently equipped workplace of the chemical engineer is situated directly on the water treatment control panel where all the water treatment equipment control is executed from. This allows to use water treatment facility and other auxiliary systems 24 hours a day. Along with this there is a constant need of water sampling for chemical analysis. This task is performed by the laboratory chemical analyst, whose workplace is now also located in the building of water treatment laboratoryУ, the Head of the Chemical Department of Leningrad NPP Yuriy Temnikov says.
