On March 13, on the common day of elections for the entire Russian Federation, there were elections of deputies of Balakovo municipal district Assembly of the second convocation.

205 thousand people live in the territory of Balakovo NPP location area. On the basis of the minutes of the territorial election commission of Balakovo municipal district, the elections were declared valid in all 25 districts, where 92 candidates for deputy had been registered. Representatives of Balakovo NPP had traditionally stood in three of them and won.

In polling district No. 20 (residential districts of Balakovo city, Natalyino municipal formation) 78.12 per cent of voters among those who took part in the elections gave votes to Deputy General Director Р Director of Rosenergoatom Concern OSC branch Balakovo nuclear power plant Viktor Ignatov.

In polling district No. 21 (residential districts of Balakovo city, Podsosenky and Golovanovsky municipal formations) Р to Chairman of the nuclear power plant trade union committee Pyotr Sorokin Р 71.5 per cent of voters.

In polling district No. 25 (residential districts of Balakovo city, Sukhoy Otrog municipal formation) Р to Deputy Director of Balakovo NPP for general issues Andrey Geraschenko Р 68.56 per cent of voters.

The three candidates of Balakovo NPP passed party primaries in Balakovo local Political Council of United Russia party and were approved by the regional Political Council of this party.
