Twelve Balakovo atomists became laureates and prize winners of the most prestigious pan-Russian professional contest called ТEngineer of the YearУ. Their honouring took place on March 14, at Balakovo NPP.

The contest jury awarded Anatoly Klimov, the engineer of thermal automation and measurement department, with a laureate diploma and a memory medal of ТProfessional EngineersУ version in the nomination of Nuclear Power; the diploma of laureate and memory medal by ТEngineering Art of the YoungУ version Рin the nomination of the Systems and Technologies of Production Safety - to Alexander Lyamtsev, an engineer of TAI department.

The title of the Professional Engineer of Russia of ТProfessional EngineersУ version was given to Sergey Artyushkin,  Chief Engineer of the department of technical inspections, Nikolay Kiselev,  Chief Engineer of the engineering and technical support department, Valery Nagovitsyn, head of the electric department change, Oleg Naumov, chief Engineer of ventilation department, Andrey Pchelnikov, Chief Process Engineer of the department of repairs preparation and carrying out, Pavel Sorokin, Chief Engineer of TAI department, and Eduard Fadeev, head of electric department lab.

Eduard Makarov, a chief instructor of the general training department, was awarded a certificate of honor by ТProfessional EngineersУ version. The diplomas of the first tour by ТEngineering Art of the YoungУ version were granted to Alexander Ilmukhin, head of the department of metals defect detection and technical control, and Dmitry Kolodub, a chief engineer on reactor RC-1 control. 

Balakovo NPP atomists had been awarded the honorary title of ТEngineer of the YearУ for many times. Congratulating the contest winners, marked by prestigious diplomas and certificates, Viktor Ignatov, Balakovo NPP Director, gave them thanks for the results reached, and wished them further success in their work.
