On October 25, 2015, an event dedicated to completing the joint contract activities of the Kozloduy NPP – The Rusatom Service – The Rosenergoatom Concern – EDF was held at the Kozloduy NPP. The aim of the consortium, was to justify an opportunity of extending the lifespan of the Kozloduy NPP’s 5th power block.

The Leningrad NPP: the 1st power block’s heating systems are 90% completed
The Leningrad NPP’s first power block under construction is being prepared for the fall and winter season of 2016-2017. The planned activities on turning the heating systems on run in accordance with the schedule. At the moment, those systems are 90% ready for heat supply. By early November, the thirty buildings of the first power block under construction will be properly heated.

The most potent one in Russia and the world’s first innovative 3+ generation power block of the Novovoronezh NPP has attained 90% of its capacity. Thus, the new 6th power block has moved to the 3rd sub-stage in the pilot production capacity level development, which is the final step to prepare the power block for commercial operation.
